Training
Training healthcare professionals in dynervology.
Recognising, diagnosing and treating dynamic nerve compressions calls for specific anatomical and functional expertise. Dynervolink runs a training offer dedicated to surgeons, physicians, physiotherapists, osteopaths and manual therapists, from the first level of awareness to advanced specialisation.
The flagship training
Dynervology: from diagnosis to treatment.
In partnership with ITMP, Dynervolink offers a training programme designed to teach the recognition, diagnosis and treatment of dynamic nerve compressions.
The training draws on in-depth anatomical and functional expertise, combining theory and practice: palpation, muscle testing, neuro-cutaneous assessment, manual techniques, strengthening, taping, reconditioning.
It is aimed at physiotherapists and manual therapists, as well as medical or surgical practitioners familiar with the neuro-musculoskeletal field. The goal: to enable better management of dynamic nerve entrapment syndromes, and to offer suitable solutions, whether conservative or surgical.
Practitioners from the AFD community benefit from priority access and preferential registration terms. Dates are shared as soon as they are scheduled.
Advanced specialisation
The Travelling Fellowship.
An exchange and advanced training programme for surgeons, physicians, physiotherapists and manual therapists who wish to specialise, develop their skills, or discover innovative practices in dynervology at other centres, in France or abroad.
In the manner of international learned societies, the fellowship grants access to reference centres: observing practices, attending procedures or specialised follow-ups, exchanging with experts. It is an accelerator of expertise and inspiration that fosters openness, the sharing of experience and the development of an inter-institutional network.
Who it is for. Physicians and surgeons (orthopaedic, neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons) interested in dynamic nerve compressions, and physiotherapists and manual therapists trained or motivated to develop these skills.
Duration
Three one-week placements
At different centres, including at least one in France.
Application
Based on a stay project
Application form and project (objectives, host centre, period, needs, expected outcomes). Selection based on the project, motivation and relevance to the dissemination of the discipline.
Cost
3 120 €
Partial support may be sought (grant, logistical aid, partnership); the candidate may also draw on support from their home institution.
Commitment & recognition
“Fellow in Dynervology” title
A stay report and feedback to be shared (presentation at a congress, workshop or possible publication), the award of the title, and the option to join the network of experts and trainers.
The discipline’s gathering
Dynerva Congress, the first congress of dynervology.
Beyond its training, Dynervolink is part of the scientific ecosystem of the discipline, of which the Dynerva Congress is the founding gathering.
The first congress of the Association Francophone de Dynervologie was held on 3 and 4 April 2026 in Nîmes (Novotel Atria). It brought together the discipline’s community of physicians, surgeons, physiotherapists and osteopaths around dynamic nerve compressions.
On the programme: neuro-fascial foundations, understanding pain and clinical integration, hands-on workshops on dynamic nerve testing and fascial techniques, clinical cases, masterclasses, and a “Meet the Experts & Meet the Patient” session. The faculty brought together international experts, including Elisabet Hagert (Sweden) and Alison Taylor (United States), alongside French experts such as Thomas Apard, Dr Benjamin Ferembach, Olivier Marès and Vincent Martinel.
